This is an event for our Corporate Members. More information on Clingendael's Corporate Membership Programme can be found here.

This year the Clingendael Institute started its Corporate Membership Programme. Since the start over 20 global companies have signed up. Members receive updates on Clingendael’s output, can get in touch with our experts and have access to exclusive network events.

We are proud to announce the first exclusive network event for our corporate members, during which a number of interesting speakers will share their views on business and geopolitical developments.

The setting of this event will be a round table discussion moderated by Clingendael European Affairs expert Rem Korteweg. General introductory remarks will be made by Monika Sie Dhian Ho, General Director of the Clingendael Institute. Next, Jeremy Bentham, Vice President Global Business Environment at Royal Dutch Shell, will share his insights on the relevance of geopolitics from his corporate perspective. Clingendael Asia expert Frans-Paul van der Putten will present the latest developments on China's New Silk Road.

After this first round, the focus will shift to active discussion about the corporate network itself. Bert Bruning, Managing Director Atradius Dutch State Business, and Barbara Rutgers, Head International Affairs ING, will kick-off by presenting the advantages of our network, shared with input and feedback from Clingendael's Corporate Members. The event will be concluded with networking drinks.
