China is fiercely debating its future role in international affairs, and it is increasingly engaging foreign opinion.

Three Clingendael follows are joining the Contemporary World Multilateral Dialogue on Global Trends and China in the Coming Decade. This conference on 7-8 November is held in Beijing and hosted by the China Centre for Contemporary World Studies (CCCWS).

Jan Melissen, Shaun Riordan and Paul Sharp will join discussions on global economic development, uncertainties and conflicts, as well as China’s future international strategy.
