The 10th Annual Free Market Road Show tours from March 16th to May 22nd through 45 capitals in Europe and Caucasus. The Free Market Road Show is organised by the Austrian Economics Center in cooperation with over 100 think tanks and universities across Europe and the Caucasus.

During the 2017 Free Market Road Show the World after Brexit and Trump will be discussed in two panels.
The first panel A Major Economic Reconfiguration: The End of the Free Trade Era? includes topics as:

  • Free trade and its discontents;
  • Protectionism;
  • Trade agreements;
  • The sharing economy;
  • Intellectual property and the Public interest;
  • Economic consequences of Brexit and Trump’s policies.

The second panel Troubled Times in a Divided World includes topics as:

  • How to close the gap between people and elites;
  • The parallel world of the media;
  • How to find a balance between tolerance and the danger of eroding European values?
  • The European Union after Brexit – are France and the Netherlands next?

The Free Market Road Show in Amsterdam will be hosted in association with the Telders Foundation (TeldersStichting), the Dutch liberal think tank, and will bring together leading business people, outstanding scholars and students, opinion leaders, policy experts, elected officials, diplomats and other interested parties from across Europe to discuss a number of topics.
