The PIN Group is in Madrid on 7 and 8 May 2015 for a roadshow on international negotiation. In these two days, special attention will be given to the topic of mediation. Members of the PIN Steering Committee and invited guests will present their latest insights and research agendas.

The Roadshow on Present and Future of Mediation is hosted by the Toledo International Center for Peace (CITPAX) in Madrid. CITPAX and the Center for Economic and Social Science Research and Studies (CRESES) are designated as the academic bases of the Spanish-Moroccan Initiative for Mediation in the Mediterranean Region. This PIN Roadshow will contribute to their effort. During the two-day event, PIN members report on various aspects of research activities of this initiative, thereby contributing to the study and practice of mediation. See the attached program for more details.

The new PINPoints

The PIN Program is a non-profit group of scholars and practitioners that encourages and organizes research on a broad spectrum of topics related to international negotiation seen as a process. Last week PIN published its bi-annual PINPoints magazine (number 41). This edition arrives at a turbulent and exciting time in international negotiation. The events of the moment pose enormous questions to process analysis and deliver important lessons, many of which have been included in the articles of this PIN publication.
