More than 350 course members in January and February

Busy Winter months at Clingendael Academy lead to a diverse list of course themes and target groups. A total of 353 diplomats and professionals, coming from 26 different countries, participate in our programmes during these two months.

They are hosted either in The Hague, or our Academy Trainers travel to meet them in the field.

The list comprises diplomatic courses for Bangladesh, Pakistan and Latin- and Central America; EU orientation programmes for Dutch civil servants; NATO simulations as a part of the Dutch defense course; a pre-deployment training; training missions to Abu Dhabi for the Emirates Diplomatic Academy; an EU trade negotiation training for Tunisia, and many more:

  • 12 January - 19 February: Course for Junior Diplomats from Bangladesh and Pakistan
  • 15 January: United Nations Negotiation training
  • 18 and 19 January: Orientation EU for Dutch civil servants, module 1
  • 25 - 29 January: Pre-deployment training UNTSO
  • 27 January: Seminar in the Course Defense Policy
  • 28 and 29 January: Orientation EU for Dutch civil servants, module 2
  • 31 January - 4 February: Emirates Diplomatic Academy, Diplomatic Report Writing
  • 8 February: European Diplomatic Programme, module 2
  • 9 February: Orientation EU for Dutch civil servants, Brussels
  • 15 - 18 February: Emirates Diplomatic Academy, Strategic Thinking and Scenario Planning
  • 16 - 17 February: DG-Agriculture and Nature, module 1
  • 22 - 26 February: EU Trade Negotiation training for Tunisia
  • 22 February: IMP students
  • 24 February - 23 March: Course for Junior Diplomats from Central America, Caribbean, Colombia, Venezuela
  • 25 February - 9 March: Afghanistan Strategic Policy Planners
