24 professionals from both the Netherlands and abroad have participated in the latest Training Course on International Security at Clingendael Academy.

One of the participants is Mr. Abdisaid M. Ali, Regional Political Analyst of the Office of the European Union Special Representative of the Horn of Africa.

He shares his experience:

"The Training Course on International Security at Clingendael has provided me with a new way of thinking about and analyzing international security issues including geopolitics, peacekeeping operations, human security, terrorism, fragile states and cyber security.

I also made good friends as many of the participants are from different institutions; security, intelligence, police, defense, foreign affairs, international organizations, private sector, and they have various experiences and cultural backgrounds. It is enjoyable to be studying with a wide range of international friends."
