The Clingendael Institute and the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs have the pleasure of inviting you to a public lecture entitled ‘The Non-Proliferation Treaty: A French Perspective’ by Ambassador David Bertolotti. Sico van der Meer will open the public lecture.
Ambassador David Bertolotti is Director for Strategic Affairs, Security and Disarmament at the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. He has a distinguished career at the French foreign ministry. For example, he was Ambassador to Jordan, and had postings in the United Arab Emirates and at NATO. He also was the lead French expert and head of the team assisting the political director and chief French negotiator for the Iran nuclear talks.
Ambassador Bertolotti will share his views on the importance of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and the NPT Review Process from a French perspective.
