Luuk Molthof is a Research Fellow at Clingendael’s EU & Global Affairs Unit, where he is responsible for research in the field of European integration and public policy. Luuk specialises in German European policy and wrote his PhD thesis on the German role in the Economic and Monetary Union. Prior to joining Clingendael, he was a Research Fellow at d|part, a Berlin based think tank, where he conducted research projects in the areas of European democracy, Western Balkan enlargement, and climate policy.
Luuk completed his PhD in Political Science at Royal Holloway, University of London. He holds an MSc in Modern Chinese Studies from the University of Oxford, an MA in International Relations from the University of Warwick, and a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Maastricht University.
