As part of the diplomatic capacity building programme for Latin America, Clingendael Academy provided skills training in international negotiations for 30 Cuban diplomats in Havana.

The two-day seminar aimed to increase personal skills in negotiations and practise in simulation games. Additionally, ideas on developing curricula and interactive working forms were exchanged with the staff of  the ‘Instituto Superior de Relaciones Internacionales “Raúl Roa García”’ (ISRI).

Mr. Ron Ton, Director of the Clingendael Academy, conducted both activities. ISRI’s director, Ambassador Isabel Allende warmly welcomed the cooperation.
