From 1st -4th of May, ten experienced humanitarian workers attended our 4 day training course on Humanitarian Negotiation.

The course introduced participants to negotiation tools and strategies and provided ample opportunity to immediately apply the newly acquired tools and insights during specially designed simulations, including a real-time simulation involving actors.

Participants valued Clingendael’s hands-on approach as well as the opportunity to learn from the wealth of experience in the room brought by the participants who came from a wide ranging variety of backgrounds, from local NGO level to the UN.
