The glass is half-full: the European External Action Service seen through Dutch eyes

This year will see the first review of the EU's new diplomatic service. In its functioning it is highly dependent on its interaction with the national diplomacies of EU member states. This new paper analyses this relationship. A case study on the Netherlands stance towards the service and EU foreign policy more in general was carried out by Clingendael's Senior Research Fellow Louise van Schaik.
