7 Dutch private sector parties presented themselves to diplomats from Pakistan and Bangladesh who are being trained in public diplomacy.
On Wednesday 8 May, the group of 20 diplomats from Bangladesh and Pakistan, that is pursuing an intensive 6-week course in diplomatic competences at Clingendael, met with representatives from the Dutch private sector. Seven Dutch companies - active in agricultural production, on- and off-shore business, knowledge, investments and textiles - presented themselves as existing and new trading partners for Bangladesh and Pakistan, touching inter alia upon mutual comparative advantages, regulatory preconditions and cultural aspects. The Dutch private sector parties included Damen Shipyards, IHC Holland BV, Vosta LMG, Sloten, Van Hessen BV, NL Agency and Nyenrode Business University.
