Sanne Reitsma

Sanne Reitsma joined the Clingendael Institute in February 2021. She coordinates and develops training programmes for different audiences, such as diplomats, (insider) mediators, and humanitarian workers, with a focus on conflict and peacebuilding. 

Prior to joining Clingendael, Sanne worked for the Netherlands Red Cross as a regional coordinator and instructor in International Humanitarian Law. She also worked as a resource development intern at an Arab-Jewish cultural centre in Israel, which facilitates dialogue through art classes.

Sanne holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations & International Organization from the University of Groningen. She obtained her master’s degree in Peace & Conflict Management (cum laude) from the University of Haifa, Israel, next to an additional certificate in mediation and peacebuilding.
