Paula Stuurman joined the Clingendael Institute in April 2024 as an Academy Project Fellow. In this role, Paula primarily works on the development, coordination, and implementation of training programmes in the international security sector for Dutch and international audiences. In addition, Paula works on capacity building and diplomatic practice.
Prior to joining the Clingendael Academy, Paula worked a little shy of two years at the International Criminal Court (2022-2024) and at the Dutch Supreme Audit Institution (2021-2022).
Paula holds an MA in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action with a focus on Project Management and the Middle East from the Sciences PO Paris School of International Affairs and an MA in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Cambridge.
