Round Table: Rule of law in EU enlargement

Zoran Nechev, visiting research fellow at Clingendael, will present his policy brief "Bolstering the rule of law in the EU's enlargement process towards the western Balkans", in which he analyzes the challenges for western Balkans countries in the EU accession process. The policy brief offers insights in the accession process of three western Balkans countries and gives recommendations to the European Commission to increase the credibility of the EU enlargement strategy and to make use of this policy to address some of the challenges that Europe is facing in its direct neighbourhood.
