The Clingendael Institute launches EUforum.nl: a neutral online platform where, next to Dutch, also foreign opinions can be found on the association agreement between the EU and Ukraine. On April 6 the Netherlands will vote in favour or against this agreement.

On www.euforum.nl, audience and media can join the debate on the consequences of the association agreement, based on analyses, opinions and background articles of various Dutch and foreign experts. EUforum.nl also offers an overview of the different points of view involved parties have on the treaty.

Event 24 March
Building on the online discussions on the association agreement, Clingendael and the Netherlands Association of International Affairs (NGIZ) jointly organise a debating event on March 24, 2016 for media and the public at large. This event will take place in the Auditorium of the Campus The Hague (Leiden University) in The Hague. For programme and registration, please visit the event page

Scenario writing competition for youngsters
On the debating website Clingendael invites youngsters to submit a short essay no later than 21 March 2016, in which they formulate their view on how the future of the EU looks in case of a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ vote on April 6. The winning scenario will be published in the Internationale Spectator, the Dutch language online magazine of the Clingendael Institute.
