Strengthening Belgian public diplomacy
18 Dec 2014 - 10:39

The Clingendael Institute is glad to launch a short term project with the Belgian Foreign Ministry, aiming at the re-vitalization of the Communication Department's public diplomacy efforts. Inspired by practices and the fast-moving debate across the globe, it will suggest ways in which practice and evaluation can be improved. An expert round table will inspire the re-launching of Belgian public diplomacy and its broader communication strategy, of course with an eye to the country’s specific context. This small Clingendael MFA project runs in parallel to a pilot for the Netherlands foreign ministry on the improvement of its networking as well as a research project commissioned by the Finnish foreign ministry on Diplomacy in the Digital Age.
