Irene Oostveen is the Business Development Manager at Clingendael Institute. She is responsible for innovation, initiating and leading acquisitions and the further development of strategic relationships, contributing to the mission of the Clingendael Institute, working for both the research and academy initiatives.
Irene holds a Master of Arts degree in International Relations and Organizations from Groningen University and has a broad academic background (Economics, International Law, History, Sociology, Theory of International Relations, Spanish Language and Geographic Information Systems). She is facilitator. Prior to joining Clingendael, Irene was a Senior Business Developer for the International Cooperation Agency of the Association of Netherlands Municipalities.
