Next Gen: Security Conference The Hague
Much of what seemed self-evident for decades no longer is. For the next generation, peace and security will look fundamentally different from what those who grew up in the post-1945 era experienced. This is why it matters so much that this new generation does not merely observe, but actively helps to build the security landscape of tomorrow.
On 27 and 28 May 2026, the Netherlands Atlantic Association, the Clingendael Institute and Leiden University, will organise the inaugural edition of the Next Gen: Security Conference The Hague. This event brings together experts, emerging thinkers and future leaders. It is a space where experience and innovation reinforce each other, where sharp analysis meets fresh perspectives, and where the agenda for the future is shaped collectively. In doing so, the Netherlands positions itself as the annual gathering place for fresh thinking on international security.
