As geopolitical uncertainty intensified in 2025, so did the demand for Clingendael’s expertise. Through independent research, practice-oriented training and public engagement, the Institute helped policymakers, professionals, organisations and the broader public navigate today’s international challenges while contributing to long-term solutions. 

We are pleased to present the Clingendael Annual Report 2025: Towards a More Resilient Europe in an Uncertain World, which reflects how we met this growing demand. The report highlights our work and achievements over the past year, and shows as well how we continue to build on these achievements to strengthen Europe's resilience in the years ahead.
