Dick Scherjon
Dick Scherjon has a background in small business management and the financial sector (KPMG and Rabobank), the training community (lecturer at Groningen University and Inholland University of Applied Science) and stakeholder management (VNO-NCW, Royal Netherlands Army). Additionally, he is member of several boards and is a reserve officer of the Dutch army (Colonel Royal Artillery).
Dick studied Business Administration at Groningen University. In his work, he used his experiences in the field of entrepreneurship, small business management and (international) economic development, especially in countries affected by war. Moreover, he founded the IDEA project for small business development in Bosnia and Afghanistan, introduced a reserve force policy for the Netherlands, and emphasized the importance of a focus on geo-political issues within boards of several organisations and companies.
