Clingendael ranking

As in previous years, the Clingendael Institute is mentioned in various rankings regarding international relations in general and international security in particular:

21 - in the top-100 of world wide think tanks (non-US);

28 - in the top-150 of world wide think tanks ( US and non-US);

16 - in the top-75 of Western European think tanks;

19 - in the top-70 of world wide think tanks categorie 'security and international affairs';

50 - in the top-50 in the category 'Best External Relations/Public Engagement Programs'.

Dutch presence

Apart from Clingendael, a number of other think tanks in the Netherlands were also present in the various rankings in fields of e.g. environment, health, international relations and political affiliation, such as the European Center for Development Policy Management (ECDPM), the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), the Netherlands Society for Nature and Environment (Stichting Natuur en Milieu), the Transnational Institute (TNI), the Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis (CPB), the Philips Center for Health and Wellbeing, and the Wiardi Beckman Foundation.
