Renewed edition of EU training

On 13-14 and 27-28 November, the Clingendael Institute has again successfully organised a training programme on the European Union for Dutch governmental officials. This training programme provides the participating officials with practical tools and knowledge on how to deal with the EU, its actors and its decision-making processes. This edition was altered in order to make sure that actual themes were included, such as:
 
  • the role of the passed French, German and Dutch elections on the future of the Union;
  • the just finished lobby regarding the relocation of the European Medicines Agency;
  • the recently agreed upon permanent structured cooperation in the field of defence, and;
  • the upcoming negotiations on the Multiannual Financial Framework in 2018.
