Lila Kasi is an Academy Programme Fellow at the Clingendael Institute, where she has worked since February 2023. She designs, develops, and delivers training programmes for a broad international audience, including foreign diplomats, humanitarians, international civil servants, and security professionals such as police and military personnel engaged in EU and NATO missions.

Her training expertise centres on Intercultural Communication, Personal Effectiveness, and Humanitarian Diplomacy. She has extensive experience working with and training professionals from diverse cultural, institutional, and operational backgrounds, both in the Netherlands and abroad.

Prior to joining Clingendael, she managed and taught youth participation projects at a Dutch NGO. She holds a Cum Laude MA in International Relations from Leiden University, specialising in the history and universality of human rights and the intersections of culture, gender, and ethnicity. During her studies, she worked in Communications and Advocacy at girls’ and women’s rights NGOs Plan International and Free a Girl.
