Overview Syrian peace talks

On March 9 a new round of talks is scheduled to start in Geneva between representatives of the Syrian government and opposition forces. These talks are facilitated by Staffan de Mistura, the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General for Syria. Expectations are running high as the Syrian Civil war is reaching its fifth bloody year on March 15.
