Officers of the Royal Army Combat Engineer School visited Clingendael on 5 April for a brief programme on actual developments in international security, particularly focussing on hybrid warfare. The aim of the briefing was to provide the military engineers insights in the international backgrounds of current developments in future warfare.

Clingendael researchers Tony van der Togt and Dick Zandee discussed military developments and policies of Russia, Frans-Paul van der Putten briefed the officers on actual military issues in China, and Sico van der Meer closed the meeting with some views on the role of cyber weapons in the international political-military context.
