IDRI and Clingendael share knowledge on diplomatic training

From 13–17 October 2025, Clingendael Academy welcomed senior representatives from Algeria’s Institut Diplomatique et des Relations Internationales (IDRI) for a five-day knowledge exchange visit in The Hague. 

Throughout the week, IDRI and Clingendael exchanged knowledge and experiences on the topic of diplomatic training, including curriculum design, didactical skills and interactive teaching methods. The visit offered space for reflection, exchange, and hands-on engagement with Clingendael’s approach for diplomatic training. 

This visit marked a key milestone in the ongoing collaboration between Clingendael and IDRI, supported by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and funded through the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) under the Shiraka Government-to-Government programme.
