Caspar Wanders joined the Clingendael Institute as an Academy Fellow in March 2022. In this capacity, Caspar coordinates and develops a variety of training programs for different audiences, such as foreign diplomats, humanitarian workers, private sector professionals, and government officials.

Prior to joining Clingendael, Caspar was a programme manager with Forward•Inc, supporting refugee entrepreneurs across Europe. He also worked as a journalist in South Asia, at Shell in Mozambique, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rwanda and in food security with BASF. Caspar has worked in the humanitarian field and in economic development, and holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and Governance.
