Noëlle Krans is Academy Fellow at the Clingendael Academy, in the Diplomacy Programme and the Humanitarian Programme. She develops and implements trainings for diplomats and professionals in international relations. 

Her work focuses on effective international cooperation at the intersection of diplomacy and civil society, with a particular emphasis on climate, development cooperation, the Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus, advocacy, and policy influencing. She is also part of the team of trainers on Advocacy & Effective Influencing and Effective Presentation Skills.   

Before joining Clingendael, Noëlle worked as an NGO project manager in Madagascar, where she coordinated projects on rural livelihoods and environmental conservation. She also previously worked for an NGO focused on youth leadership and has several years of training experience in international settings. 

Noëlle holds a Cum Laude MA in Globalization and Development Studies from Maastricht University. In addition, she holds a Cum Laude BSc in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Erasmus University College, where she majored in global and public health.
