After the Malian crisis: security and stabilization in the Sahel

The seminar aims at gathering policy makers, researchers and practitioners from Mali and neighboring countries in order to:

· Evaluate and assess the military operations and the stabilization programs that have been implemented in the Sahel region since January 2013;
· Exchange views on how to best consolidate and strengthen the gains made by these initiatives and prevent the rise of new pockets of instability.
