In September, the Clingendael Institute had the opportunity to invite the regional representation of the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation in Brussels as part of a diplomatic training programme for Indonesian mid-career diplomats. 

During this visit, Clingendael’s general director Monika Sie Dhian Ho exchanged with UNIDO's regional representative Christophe Yvetot on their work in Indonesia and Brussels, the current different economic evolutions and challenges, and future cooperation with Clingendael.

The Indonesian diplomats also had a fruitful exchange with UNIDO on trade capacity building, energy for productive use, and energy efficiency in Indonesia. 

We look forward to continuing to exchange knowledge and strengthen our cooperation with UNIDO.
