On January 9th, we welcomed a group of junior diplomats from Indonesia as the first group of 2018 that will be following a 6 week training programme at the Clingendael Academy. This group is part of a long-standing tradition of cooperation, that dates back to 2004, making this year the 15th batch that we are honoured to train.

During the training programme, the diplomats will delve into various thematic topics within the scope of international affairs and diplomacy through a combination of content based sessions, skills training and working visits to relevant international institutions in The Hague and Brussels.

The multifaceted programme aims to provide the junior diplomats with increased knowledge, insights and diplomatic skills that are to contribute to their current and future work.
