Giulia Cretti is a Junior Researcher at the Clingendael’s EU & Global Affairs Unit. Her work focuses on EU integration and policy-making, in particular EU climate policy, rule of law, enlargement and external action. In her research, she is interested in exploring the global challenges that characterize today’s geopolitical landscape and the ways in which the EU can deal with them. 

Giulia holds a BSc in International Relations and Political Science (cum laude) from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan and a MSc in Public Administration: International and European Governance (cum laude) from Leiden University. Prior to becoming a Junior Researcher, she did an internship at the Embassy of Mexico in the Netherlands as well as in a non-governmental organization in Thailand. Moreover, she interned at the EU & Global Affairs Unit of the Clingendael Institute.
