Eilyaa Abdin is a Researcher at the EU & Global Affairs Unit of the Clingendael Institute. Her research focuses on migration partnerships, particularly in relation to labour shortages, labour mobility, and nearshoring strategies in the EU’s external relations. She holds a master’s degree in international relations, specialising in Global Political Economy (cum laude) and previously worked as an intern at Clingendael’s EU & Global Affairs Unit.
