Activities focus on how the public and private sector can contribute to the transition towards a climate friendly and circular economy and respond to climate change and related water and food scarcity.

WHO should declare climate change a public health emergency

Rapid and potentially irreversible climate change poses a direct threat to global public health. The World Health Organization (WHO) should recognise this in the same way as global threats from specific diseases such as the ongoing Coronavirus disease pandemic.
