Teun van der Laan is a Researcher at the Security Unit of the Clingendael Institute. His research revolves primarily around the ‘Buitenland Barometer’, a series of data analyses on the attitude of Dutch citizens towards a wide range of connected security and foreign policy issues.

Teun holds bachelor’s degrees in Econometrics and Political Science from the University of Amsterdam. He holds a master’s  degree in Public Administration from Leiden University and one in Data Science and Business Analytics from the University of Amsterdam.
