Camille van Hees is a Research Fellow at the EU & Global Affairs Unit of the Clingendael Institute. His main fields of expertise are EU policy-making, European integration and the dynamics of the European Council. In addition, Camille has a specific interest in the Nordics and Canada after his studies there.

Before joining Clingendael, he worked at the General Secretariat of the European Council in the unit drafting political briefings for President Charles Michel and preparing the European Council meetings. Previously, Camille interned at the Embassy of the Netherlands to Belgium. 

Camille holds a BA in World Politics (Honours) from Leiden University College The Hague and a MA in European Politics and Culture (Mention très bien) from the University of Strasbourg and Uppsala University.
