From 28 until 30 June, Clingendael Academy welcomed a diverse group of professionals for the open registration course on Intercultural Communication. Diving into the Clingendael PACIS Model of Intercultural Competence, participants increased their intercultural awareness and were equipped with skills to effectively navigate between different cultural contexts.

The three-day course programme substantively built on all elements of the PACIS Model. Academic theory was interspersed with and applied in practice through case studies, role-plays, and simulation exercises. The wide-ranging backgrounds of participants, both professionally (from the public sector to non-profit and diplomacy), and personally in terms of cultural diversity, provided a fruitful learning environment. Participants were able to share and learn from their own experiences. We look back on a successful training and thank our participants for their active contribution.
