Nana Fordjour is an Academy Project Fellow at the Clingendael Institute since May 2024. She coordinates and develops training programmes for diplomats, civil servants, humanitarians, and other international professionals. Her focus areas include diplomatic practice and humanitarian diplomacy. She has a geographical focus on Sub-Sahara Africa. Nana is a trainer of Advocacy and Effective Influencing, as well as diplomatic soft skills such as policy reporting and presenting.

Prior to working for the Clingendael Institute, Nana has worked on international themes at various Dutch Ministries. She has worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague - at the Sub-Sahara Africa directorate, and at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Tanzania.

Nana holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Studies & Human Rights from Utrecht University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political History, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences from Utrecht University.
