Brigitte Dekker is a Research Associate at the Clingendael Institute and is currently pursuing a PhD on governance in the digital age at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. As researcher, Brigitte focuses on digitalisation, Big Tech regulation, digital connectivity and the nexus between trade, technology and geopolitics primarily in Europe-Asia context.
Brigitte holds a BA in Political Science and an MA (cum laude) in International Relations from the Radboud University of Nijmegen. Prior to becoming a Clingendael Research Fellow, Brigitte worked for the Medicines Evaluation Board (Agency of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sports) as Junior Communication Advisor and was a research intern for the Clingendael Institute.
